Michigan’s mandatory 24-hour waiting period for abortions is no more for now after a Tuesday decision by the Michigan Court of Claims.
The state court approved on June 25 a request for a preliminary injunction making portions of the state’s abortion laws unconstitutional, according to court records. Those provisions include the mandatory waiting period, need to provide an informed consent form to an abortion provider and a ban on clinicians other than physicians providing abortions…
