No mandatory 24-hour waiting period for abortion, rules Michigan Court of Claims

Michigan’s mandatory 24-hour waiting period for abortions is no more for now after a Tuesday decision by the Michigan Court of Claims.
The state court approved on June 25 a request for a preliminary injunction making portions of the state’s abortion laws unconstitutional, according to court records.
