Resident Opportunities

Have you graduated medical school but still want to make abortion a standard part of medical practice? MSFC works with residents too.

Residents and practicing physicians are crucial to MSFC’s continued success. MSFC residents form an important community of support for each other and are also a resource for current medical students. We depend on passionate activist leaders at all stages of their careers to further our mission.

Regardless of your chosen specialty, MSFC provides a community for pro-choice residents. As a resident you can:

• Be connected to your local MSFC chapter;
• Organize educational events, like a Papaya Workshop, for your residency program;
• Join the MSFC residents listserv to connect with peers around the world interested in abortion training, research, and advocacy;

Apply to the Training to Competence Externship program which provides residents with financial and logistical support for receiving clinical abortion training.
